let's get ready
Please click the drop down arrow to expand each section for details on what is needed to prepare for our appointment. If any required item is missing the notarization will be considered incomplete and will need to be rescheduled.
Confirm time & place
When you book your appointment a confirmation email/text will be sent and an invoice payable upon reciept. A reminder will be sent in the morning on the day of your appointment because we as humans get busy, distracted, or just simply forget. Please check your email, text messages, or voicemail for confirmation of meeting details. If the details can't be found please reach out and I will be happy to resend the information.
Gather documents
Prepare and Print
Know what kind of document you are wanting notarized and print ahead of time. If you are unsure what kind of document is needed contact a lawyer for guidance. Printing service available if needed.
Make sure the document is complete and ready with no blank spaces. Documents with blank spaces or incomplete information cannot be notarized. If a space is left blank intentionally please refer to the distributor of the document for instructions on how to fill in the spaces appropriately.

Review your documents to confirm if any state forms (for Jurat, Acknowledgment, or Certified Copy) need to be added.
Make adjustments, if any, to the invoice. This can happen when the documents, or their requirements, are different than discussed or there are more notary signatures needed. Any unpaid or new balances are due at this time.
Signer(s) will present valid identification, sign the log book and fill in any initials or signatures required on the document in the presence of the Notary.
Complete the document(s) with notary certification and signature.
Approximate time spent will be about 15-45 minutes depending on number of documents and notary certifications required. Multi-page documents or several different types of documents may require more time.
